The Upper Darby School District is looking for applicants for Stage Crew in the Performing Arts Center.
This is a part-time position. The hourly rate is $9.27 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- At least one year of experience on the Upper Darby High School Stage Crew
- Currently an active member of the Upper Darby High School Stage Crew
- Ability to commit time outside of the school day and week to work non-high school events and productions
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Has a passion for learning
- Ability to think creatively
- Willingness to be challenged and grow skills as a theatrical technician
- Ability to work in a group environment and/or independently under the supervision of the Production Manager
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to setting up and taking down stage setups
- Ability to conduct self in a professional manner while working with members of the public, outside organizations and school district personnel.
