BUILDING COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
($44,000 and Benefits, Plus Mileage)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Configure, install, and repair computers, printers, and peripherals hardware.
- Configure, install, and repair operating system and application software.
- Configure and install hardware and software upgrades.
- Install, repair, and test network and telephone wiring.
- Provide trouble shooting and problem resolution for technical issues related to computer or phone technology.
- Provide support for phone systems.
- Provide equipment maintenance services.
- Maintain technology equipment inventory and service records.
- Assist computer users with software applications use.
- Provide support for all technology requests and usage.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for application software installation, setup, and use.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reference materials for District operated technology.
- Maintain help desk system record of repairs and service activity.
- Work cooperatively with all levels of District personnel to provide technology services.
- Work with vendors to order parts, install and configure software, or obtain technical support.
- Willing to work strategically as a member of the Technical Services team.
