Description

The Upper Darby School District Transportation Department is seeking safe, responsible, and professional drivers to join our team.

 

We welcome both fully licensed drivers and trainees to apply. If you possess complete credentials (CDL B or higher, S and P endorsements, and Air Brake restriction removed), you will start as a fully licensed driver. All new hires will initially be placed in trainee status until the necessary credentials and endorsements are verified, and the road test is successfully completed.

 

The cost of training required to become a fully licensed driver will be fully covered by the Upper Darby School District.

 

 

Available: Trainees Hourly Rate: $21.00/hour during training

Fully Licensed Drivers Hourly Rate: $24 /hour to start

 

Qualifications:      Clear driving record - safety conscious

                               Time management skills

                               Good interpersonal and communication skills

                               Ability to meet physical/sensory demands of job

                               Prior experience preferred, but not required

 

Clearances:           FBI Criminal Clearance

                               PA Child Abuse History Clearance

                               PA Criminal Record Background Check
